Agile Management

Young Digitals Agile Management

Overview

We introduce agile methods and develop existing competencies for the management of digital product and software development processes, i.e. planning, controlling and monitoring.

What is
Agile Management?

Agile management is a trend with a decades-long tradition. We understand this to mean in particular the ability to react quickly, flexibly and proactively to changes. Agility has once again become very popular, especially since digitization.

Agile methods have since been applied in many companies not only for subareas such as product or software development, but also for the (digital) transformation of individual divisions or the entire company.

Why is agile management important?

Agility stands for speed, flexibility, customer centricity and mindset. From our point of view, customer centricity plays a special role, as it is associated with the ability of an organization to respond quickly to customer requirements in short cycles and through iterations.

At the same time, the agile mindset, i.e., the attitude toward change processes, is of elementary importance in order to ensure a cultural transformation through open and respectful cooperation.

How do we implement agile management?

At the beginning, a common agile objective is developed in order to obtain clarity and understanding of each individual area and to be able to systematically implement the agile transformation. Based on this, a development plan is created, which consists of the levels of training, tools, processes, and culture.

The levels are backed up with concrete measures that are implemented in parallel and/or sequentially and contribute to the OKR. We use the project management tool Asana for the development plan to map progress and to ensure long-term transparency.
